Bryant Lake LaGrange supports local community through summer movie series sponsorship

September 17, 2008 - LAGRANGE, Ga. - PEC Development's Bryant Lake LaGrange continued their support of the local community by sponsoring last month's Flicks on Bricks. The summer series, coordinated by the Downtown LaGrange Development Authority, showed free movies appropriate for the entire family including: High School Musical 2, The Goonies, Hannah Montana and Rudy. Movies were shown every Friday throughout the month of August. Nearly 350 residents from LaGrange and surrounding areas attended each movie.

“Without our sponsors like Bryant Lake LaGrange we would not be able to afford to provide free movies for the community,” said JoAnn Gentry with the Downtown LaGrange Development Authority. “Showing a free movie to the public is costly, considering licensing and screen rental, so we are very grateful to sponsors for their generous support to make free family-friendly movies available to the whole community.”
